Our modern, state-of-the-art riding facility was built in 2001-2002 and has been custom-designed to serve persons with disabilities and their caregivers. Our riders enjoy two large indoor heated arenas which are used year-round. The temperature-controlled building is 100% handicapped-accessible from its restrooms to its spacious and comfortable viewing areas. There is always plenty of parking in the large lot, and the drive-through front awning allows easy wheelchair access. An enclosed lunch room with refrigerator, sink and microwave offers large windows to observe riders in the arena. Our open viewing stand provides even more seating, and allows onlookers to see and hear all class activities.
In addition to providing safety helmets that meet stringent NARHA guidelines, we have a well-stocked tack room filled with English saddles and adaptive equipment to benefit our participants' special needs.
The barn has 40 spacious box stalls for our large herd of seasoned, gentle-natured horses. Twenty acres of pasture provide ample room for grazing. Visitors will be impressed by the cleanliness of the well-swept aisles, the tidy stalls, and the easy-on-the-nose barn smells. Please call us at 815.765.2113 to arrange a tour and see for yourself all that we have to offer.
